A miniature Mazda sports car has been turned into an original copy of the iconic Ferrari
The famous Ferrari F40 supercar has received an original reduced copy. It was created for the Tokyo Auto Show on the basis of a miniature 3.3-meter Mazda Autozam AZ-1. This is reported on the website of the Japanese atelier Liberty Walk.
It is this company performed tuning of Mazda Autozam AZ-1. To be more precise, the model for imitation served as a limited version of Ferrari F40 LM.
In the Mazda Autozam AZ-1 coupe, they replaced part of the body panels to make it look like a Ferrari F40. In addition, the car has new headlights and aerodynamic dodger, and at the back there is an antifender and diffuser.
Also, the copy of Ferrari received forged wheels with a diameter of 16 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear with Toyo tires. The interior got bucket seats. What the F40 doesn’t have is upward-facing doors.
However, if the Ferrari supercar is equipped with a 760-horsepower turbocharged V8, its clone has a much more modest motor. The 657-cubic-inch three-cylinder engine develops 63 hp.
The Ferrari copy was not cheap. Tuning kit for Mazda Autozam AZ-1 was estimated at $22,600, tires and disks will cost $14,300.
